If your business has reached the highest point at the current market, then maybe you should try to expand your business. To expand your business basically means that you open up a few more stores in different locations so more customers will come to your stores and buy your products or services.
There are several tips that you can do or you should think about before you decide to expand your business. First is that you must visualize the future, this means that you need to set up an end goal related to your business. The second step is to choose the point of differentiation, this means that you should choose whether your company will take the generic market or the niche market. For small company it is better to choose the niche because niche market offers unique products or services other than the generic market.
Then you can choose the type of expansion, there are two kinds of expansions first is geographic expansion and second is business line expansion. Geographic expansion is when you open up several stores in different places and business line is when you add up the type of products or services you offered to the customers.
