To run businesses we, of course, need careful planning. We can learn a lot of things related to businesses. Even we may have already run businesses. However, perhaps we do not know about business intelligence. What is it? The two words can already show the meaning of the phrase, more or less. It is any things related to how we run our businesses well. It can be technologies, their applications, skills, and the like. Business intelligence technologies, for example, can be applied to collect data, analyzing them so that we can make good decisions.
The word intelligence already suggests the use of our abilities and our logic. Then, to think logically needs facts. These facts can be called data, but not all of them can be useful data. Precisely what are called data here are useful facts to make business decisions. The data are then analyzed. The result of the analysis can show the place of a business among other business, its risks, its opportunities, and the like. Thus, business intelligence can develop our business. One way to do that is by making right decisions for our business. Furthermore, from collecting data, the data that are available, analyzing data, to developing a business there are many related things, such as those which have been mentioned previously. The important thing is that all of them are meant to improve business decision making while at the same time to improve a business.
Thus, by business intelligence we can develop our business decision making and, of course, develop our business. Actually there are some other related terms, such as competitive intelligence. The two terms are sometimes used similarly. One reason can be there is business there is competition. It seems that neither of the terms discards the importance of employees. It is naturally.
